Excellent, Jazzy Upbeat little Ditty which just gets you singing and dancing

History Repeating

A song I heard several years ago that just got me moving and grooving, then I couldn't leave it alone...love it!

Getting some fun out of life
bulletbullet

Sweet, light, warm fuzzy feeling lyrics that make you smile and feel happy to be young and free and have your whole life ahead of you with the world at your fingertips

Paper Bag
bulletbullet

A song sung from the heart that I feel, at times, I can relate to.  It's about love, unfulfilled expectations, longing and all the grey mucky haze that makes loving someone else difficult

too close to home

Love Ridden

Another too close to home song

Blur

Tender
bulletbullet

This song combines the unmistakable characteristics of Blur blended with the very "Non Brit-pop" sounds of a southern gospel choir.  Definitely a unique piece with powerful lyrics.  My favorite line is, "Tender is the touch, of someone that you love too much."

Beetlebum
bulletbullet

Another Blur song which is just soft, smooth and flowing. Something about it just pulls me in and I'm still not quite sure what it is. Perhaps you can tell me.

All I really Wanna Do
bulletbullet

All I really wanna do is an incredible song about just wanting something as simple and pure as friendship in a society which is skeptical and untrusting about people and their intentions

Garden of Simple
bulletbullet

Definately love the first stanza of the lyrics...unexpected and kinda made me chuckle.  I just like the "free-feeling" lyrics and her guitar work because, I think that in this song, less is more and that's what made it perfect.  I really liked the line, "...and the best minds of our generation can't make bail."

Marrow
bulletbullet

I just "feel" this song...if that even makes sense.  Favorite lines:  "I got tossed out the window of love's el camino and I shattered into a shower of sparks on the curb" and,  "I'm not listening to you anymore, my head is too sore and my heart's perforated."

The playful references to childhood and the reminiscent feel of this song, makes me remember someone from my past that I would like to come back and play, someday.

My Sweet Prince
bulletbullet

This song's eerie lyrics reference a tragic and sad story which leaves you sitting there silent at the end of it.  I think also that making this song a waltz with a very strong, reverberating beat, was a very effective way to create a solemn mood for this piece.

I can't catch you

A song that I feel describes my feelings towards relationships.  Very soft, sweet sound and incredible lyrics
